Short, loudmouth jerk rant that bizarrely argues that because murderers on death row would prefer a life sentence, we can be sure killing Roof now will prevent future murders.
The comment section is all-American and a bag of chips, though. Was Dylann Roof on pyschotropic drugs? What about that poked out tongue, is that tardive dyskinesia? Was Roof the victim of Black Ops? We must avoid all perception of Black Ops. As Christians, we must forgive. What about the educational system's failure of young Roof? Is killing wrong? Do you have to be so happy about killing the guilty? Maybe he is insane? I don't care. I don't want to pay to house him for the rest of his life. Can Dylann Roof be saved from Eternal Damnation? (No, that's not in there, I just made it up.) Mercy.

- Famed capital defense attorney David Bruck has been hired to defend Roof in both his state and federal trials.
- Only 31 of the nearly 800 whites executed for murder since 1976 killed a black victim.
- The last time a white was put to death in South Carolina for killing a black was in 1991.
- Dylann Roof has been indicted under the federal Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
