Race-Baiting Morons and Burger King

As the story goes, after his exciting man-hunt ended in arrest, Dylann Roof was hungry and the friendly cops took him to Burger King where he enjoyed a tasty meal while wearing the little paper crown that came with the food.

The COPS took a (white) MURDERER to BURGER KING!

No they didn't, but that's how the story goes. And this story keeps turning up, every time a white man is arrested after a crime of violence and survives the arrest. Case in point, this article at thinkprogress.com:

The link in that article, above, regarding the Roof arrest goes to this June 22 news story:

Comment on the Ny mag story made by "JusticeandTrust" on July 22, 2015:

THE above NORTH CAROLINA  OFFICERS - appears to have REWARDED!! a known!!  KILLER!!!  of  NINE!!  PEOPLE!  - by taking the said KILLER-Dylann Roof to HAVE SOMETHING!! TO EAT!!.   Is that a NORMAL!!  PROCEDURE!!  for the said North Carolina Officials!!?   Or does not disturb! anyonelse! - that North Carolina's TAX PAYER'S MONEYS are being Paid to LAW ENFORCERS!! who- are spending!  MONEY!  on a (then)  KNOWN!!  KILLER!!  who was actually caught! with the said GUN! - within in his possession...;  and the said LAW OFFICERS!! takes!! the said KILLER!! to have a MEAL!!...which he would have actually RECEIVED!! after!! the said KILLER!!  was  PLACED!! into  legal custody! - FROM BEING AROUND the PUBLIC!!  CITIZENS!! - WHOM!! the said KILLER/Dylann Roof - had JUST!! KILLED!! (9/Nine!!) INNOCENT! People????

Further comments to that article indicate that arrested men can expect to be served peanut butter and jelly or bologna sandwiches, or macaroni and cheese at the jail.  However, if they get fast food instead, FAST FOOD is not a TREAT! (Nobody WANTS to eat that stuff. If you think fast food is a treat, you are a sad example of a failed USA. Grumble, grumble.)

Well, well. Here's an early New Year's toast to 2015 - Confederate flags, baby parts, and all! Cheers! Clink-clink of glasses.

Prosecutors redact the evidence in Dylann Roof trial

November 3rd story from The Post and Courier. The newspaper doesn't see why everything has to be so secret on the Dylann Roof case. Roll our those photos and incidental reports. The guy is toast, anyway. Burnt toast in the garbage can!

http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20151103/PC16/151109821

The ways of the law are a mystery to me, but I would guess the prosecutors think the photos and reports they blacked out might stir up some sympathy for young Roof. Dylann Roof hugging his old black Mammy. Dylann Roof at Disneyland, posing with Goofy. Dylann Roof sleeping like an angel. (The kind of pix your Mom takes of you and posts on facebook when you are little.) Just kidding!

Dylann's mother's name is Amy.

What do we learn from this article? (If you have not followed the case obsessively, like I haven't.) Mr. Roof drove a Hyundai Elantra. He took photos with a Kodak EasyShare camera. He also owned a Glock 41, but we already knew that - at least, the Glock part.

Also note that photos that show a person celebrating white identity are "hate." Everyone else can be a victim of the system when they pose with their historical flags, but white people establish evidence of their motives for committing hate crimes when they do it. (Now, tell me about that white supremacist system that we live under...)

Justin Meek, brother of Joey, on Fox News last June

1. Joseph Meek will be tried in Charleston, not his hometown. Apparently the reason for the transfer of the trial is to make it more convenient for the Charleston shooting victims/families to attend Meek's trial. Judge Gergel said a special jury drawn from around the state will prevent local public feeling in Charleston from harming Meek's chance of a fair trial. (Yeah, right.) Transfer of a trial can be ordered by the judge for the convenience of either party. Naturally, the Meek family, who live in Red Bank, will be inconvenienced by the transfer to Charleston.

2. Here's an old Fox News story from last June - an interview by Greta van Sustern with Justin Meek, brother of Joseph Meek. The article below the interview "video" brings in an AP article in which Joseph tells AP about Dylann telling him he had "a plan."

[Joey] Meek said Roof recently used his birthday money to buy a Glock pistol. When the two of them were drinking together a few weeks ago, Roof began railing about black people and remarked that he had "a plan," Meek said. He did not say what the plan was, but Meek said it scared him enough that he took the gun out of Roof's car and hid it in his house until the next day.
